Designed by Buckley Gray Yeoman and built by Wates Construction, the 19 storey building in Commercial Road is made up of 417 student rooms with ensuite toilets and kitchenette facilities.The building also houses a sky lounge space on the top floor, along with an external roof terrace, plus a fully equipped gym, cafe, screen room and laundry facilities for the students. The ground floor of the building includes a large reception area and commercial space completed to Cat A. The ensuite bathrooms are modular units, and the innovative cladding comprises pre-cast concrete units with full height punch-hole windows and terracotta baguette cladding.
